NPR Music – WXPN: World Cafe Programming Intern

World Cafe is a radio program hosted by David Dye in Philadelphia, PA on WXPN and is nationally syndicated on over 200 NPR member stations. The show includes a mix of music from blues, rock, folk, and world music to country, along with live performances and interviews.

My responsibilities included:

Assisted with XPN Fest 2016 – Artist Hospitality
Assisted with XPN’s Non-COMMercial Convention 2016 – Artist Hospitality
Assisted with in-studio artist hospitality
Prepared and maintain playlist catalogs
Researched | Formatted scripts and write promotional copy
Managed World Café bookings and broadcast calendars
Assisted with Guest Services during live performances at the World Cafe Live
