Phillip Randall Peery, the founder of PVRP Music, is a proud marketing and advertising professional that has launched campaigns across verticals including the music and cannabis industries.
His career started in high school at iHeartRadio and continued through undergrad at Temple University where he held other internships including at MTV. His passion for music is what motivates him. He was the producer for an EDM radio program, Watts on the Weekend, where he won the ‘Best Radio Production’ award. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts, he joined the Live Nation & Insomniac teams working festivals such as EDC Las Vegas.
A few years into his professional career he landed a gig with a major music label, Universal Music Group / Fame House, due to his success as an Integrated Marketing Manager at Radio One. At UMG he managed paid media campaigns for Disco Donnie Presents and sold out the inaugural Ubbi Dubbi Music Festival in Texas. This is a testament to the success of Randall’s marketing and advertising campaigns.
Throughout Randall’s career he has been working on his passion project, LGBTQ+ owned PVRP Music, to help up-and-coming artists. PVRP Music Agency has a music business blog for DIY artists and a podcast to showcase DJ mixes. He doubled down on the project during the COVID-19 Pandemic and used the platform to launch a merch shop and a collection that donates proceeds to MusiCares. He chose MusiCares due to their work with mental health and substance abuse for music industry professionals.
Randall saw the natural crossover between live music & cannabis and extended his marketing portfolio to include expanding patients access to alternative medicine. While consulting for Curaleaf he managed the creative builds for store openings and product launches, including bringing Select Essentials Vape to market.
Randall’s career has given him the knowledge and adaptability that allows him to be the change that marketing and advertising needs going into a new era for both the music and cannabis industries. With his deep passion for music and 10+ years of experience in the industry.
