Altering How We Consume Music
Music, along with all art, has been an essential part of society for a very long time. Music has been ever-evolving from Elizabethan Era instruments to folk singers, to the disco era, to the electronic era of today. As we have advanced technologically in society, the way we consume music has inevitably been transforming as well. The music industry has been under constant change since it’s existence, within the past decade we have seen a massive shift of how we consume music; from listening to music on the radio and CD’s, to internet radio and mp3’s, and most recently we have seen a surge in music streaming services that is diminishing ownership of personal music libraries.
